PC Receiver
The IC-PCR1000 is a powerful PC-based radio scanner that connects to your computer providing frequency coverage from 10kHz to 1300MHz with WFM, FM, AM, SSB and CW receiver modes.

Both the IC-PCR100 or IC-PCR1000 are now sold with RadioCom V.4.0. This now provides product compatibility with the following systems.

- MICROSOFT WINDOWS 95/98
- MICROSOFT WINDOWS MILLENIUM EDITION
- MICROSOFT WINDOWS NT4
- MICROSOFT WINDOWS 2000
- MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP

(Please note that the standard Icom control software will work on both Windows 95/Windows 98.)

The IC-PCR1000 is a powerful receiver and has three different interface screens that you can use:

Communication Receiver Screen: This screen displays the front of a typical communications receiver.

Component-type screen: Ideal for those familiar with full function communication receivers. This screen is divided into the following four components.

- Tuning
- Mode/Volume
- Meter/Scan
- Bandscope

Radio Screen: This provides the simplest operation and is ideal for monitoring your favourite AM/FM radio stations.

The IC-PCR1000 can store all the frequencies you find and recall them easily. The total number of memory channels is only limited by the size of your hard drive!

The IC-PCR1000 also has the following features:

- Automatic mode. Input a frequency and this
function automatically selects the mode, tuning
step, filter setting etc according to your pre-
set requirement.

- Real time bandscope function makes it easy to
observe and find busy frequencies.

- IF shift function ensures clear reception, even under crowded band conditions.

- Digital AFC Function (Automatic Frequency
Control) which adjusts the receiver to the centre of a ra-dio signal.

- Icom’s original DDS (Direct Digital Synthesiser) system provides super fine tuning
resolution to 1 Hz.

- VSC function (Voice Scanning Control) pauses
scanning only when modulated signals such as voice or music are received.

- S-Meter squelch is built in for receiving only signals stronger than the pre-set level.

- CTCSS tone squelch decode function.

- RF attenuator to help reduce interference from strong local signals.

- Optional Digital Signalling Processing (DSP)
unit which processes signals digitally to reduce unwanted noise.
