PCR-1000

The PCR-1000 is a software-based receiver that is ideally suited to conversion for DRM reception with the minimum of modification to the existing circuitry.

Have a look at the modification instructions: http://www.drmrx.org/mods/ICOM_PCR1000_DRMConversion.pdf

Purchased my PCR-1000 shortly after it was released in 1997.

I used the original software for quite some time until I had a chance to download additional programs, including  programs just written for amending/ saving the EEPROM.
Some of them are already 'old' and will not run under WIN-XP anymore.

I never had to used those backups, but it was good feeling to have them.

My back-up as PDF file Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that it will work with YOUR PCR1000.

Then, some years ago, BONITO introduced RadioCom for PCR-1000.

It comes with an automatic EEPROM saver (read only) and the file is saved on your hard drive in the RadioCom folder.

If, for whatever reason,  you would like to upload your original EEPROM information again,

then click on and download the ZIP-file.

This little utility program will save and upload.
